Love - it's the greatest force ever experienced. It gives us superhuman strength and looks past the shortcomings in others. Paul tells us that love never fails. Is there someone in your life that needs the love that only you can give?

1. What religious patterns have you practiced in your life without understanding the context or meaning behind them?
2. Have you ever experienced a "fruit of the Spirit" love that went beyond your own capacity to love?  What did it do?  What did the interaction look like?
3. Where is the place in your life where you most need to improve in your love of the person even at the expense of the task?
4. How does your relationship with God inform your interactions with those who are "enemies"?

When we are harmed, that's painful. When you add in the intention to harm, that's personal. What this world intended for harm, God has redeemed not only for our good, but for the good of those that hear our story.

1. describe a time in your life when you faced the intention of harm. could you sense and believe the "whether" of god's plan even though you couldn't see the "how"?
2. As you look back at seasons of difficulty, how has God transformed something that seemed like a curse into something that became a blessing?
3. what are some tangible ways that you can be present and acknowledge God in your present moments?
4. Are there examples of how God has been able to redeem other lives through your personal story of redemption?

Sometimes, like Joseph in Genesis, we find ourselves in a pit. We may have made the pit or just been thrown in. To get out, we need to display attributes that come from walking with God and rely on more than ourselves. We need hope, and hope is Jesus.

2. Is there an area where you need to stop relying on your own strength and begin humbly relying on the help of others?
3. Is there a place where you need to grow in reliability?  How does your "yes and no" reflect who you are in Christ?
4. Is there a forgiveness that needs to happen so that you can take a step out of a pit?

Do you have a dream that seems so crazy and personal, you're afraid to even speak about it? What if that dream was given to you by God and you are here to fulfill a specific purpose? Joseph's story in Genesis is all about dreams and how God brought those dreams into reality.
