Hello CWC Family. On behalf of Pastor Les Crossfield, our District Superintendent, and Robert Campbell, the Vice-Chair of our Local Board of Administration, we want to extend our thoughts and prayers to you and your families during this challenging season for our church, as we journey together toward healing and restoration.
For those who may be unaware, Pastor Nathan submitted his resignation as Lead Pastor of our church, effective last Tuesday, September 19. This also included the resignation of Pastor Jade as our Outreach Pastor. If you have questions regarding Pastor Nathan's resignation, you may contact Pastor Les for further clarification. While we are saddened to be saying goodbye to Pastor Nathan, Pastor Jade, and their beautiful children Maddix, Sophie, Ezra and Ruby, we pray nothing but the best for them as they journey onward from here.
We, as leaders of Community Wesleyan Church, are dedicated to loving, shepherding, and discipling our church community. We invite you, and your families, to seek God in how you may show love and care for your brothers and sisters in Christ. We must support one another in unity, pursue reconciliation, and lead with peace if we are to grow spiritually as a church body. As we seek to serve and care for one other, we can then reach out to our surrounding community in health and solidarity with the Good News of Jesus Christ. God wants to use this local church to transform lives, and that transformation begins within us.
Supporting us on this journey are some integral lay leaders who will be stepping into roles to provide continuity across all ministry areas, including Youth and Children's ministries. We want to congratulate Pastor Lyndsey and Josh Harshbarger on the arrival of their beautiful baby girl, Eleanor Liliana Harshbarger! Pastor Lyndsey will be taking the next six weeks away from her responsibilities to care for their new little one, and we want to respect her time as they enjoy being new parents.

Your contribution to the health and unity of our church is valued and needed. I leave you with the words of the Apostle Paul, found in Ephesians 4:2-6, "Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love. Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace. There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called to one hope when you were called; one Lord, one faith, one baptism; one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all". We love you and thank you for calling Community Wesleyan your church home. God bless you!
In Love and Humility,
Pastor Shawn
